HMICS welcomes the appointment of Iain Livingstone as the Chief Constable of Police Scotland. Iain Livingstone will take up the post on Monday 27 August and the appointment will be for a fixed term of four years with the possibility of extension in line with legislation. HMICS congratulates and looks forward to working with Iain Livingstone in his new role.
